Copperbelt rapper Starjon Icho links up with Triple M and Xaven on a cautionary new single titled “Taking Advantage.”
The song dropped on October 9, 2026, and its message is easy to follow. It deals with people who mistake kindness for weakness. Whether it is a friend, an acquaintance, or someone who reads a simple smile as an invitation, Starjon calls them out. He also warns anyone who plans to try it.
The idea hits close to home because familiarity often creates the problem. When you are friendly with everyone, some people start to feel entitled to your time, your money, and your patience. So the record works as a warning for both sides of that exchange.
King Nachi Beats handles the production. Starjon, Triple M, and Xaven each bring their own energy, yet the record never loses its center. Starjon’s message stays in front, while the two guests add different flavours around it.
Starjon is no newcomer to this kind of direct talk. His earlier releases, including “Rumour Says,” “One Bo,” and the “King Of Bars” EP, already showed a rapper who prefers plain speech to heavy metaphor. Icho Entertainments backs his work, and “Taking Advantage” continues that straight-talking run.
An official video also arrived alongside the audio.
