T Hadex has been showing up in the right places lately, most recently on Ayanfe Viral’s “Owolabi.” This time he steps out on his own, and the record makes a decent case for why he deserves that spotlight without needing someone else beside him.
Firstbeat builds the beat around a clean, mid-tempo groove that sits comfortably in Nigeria’s current street-pop lane. Nothing here is trying too hard. The instrumental stays out of the way enough for T Hadex to breathe.
