Nigerian singer and unique songwriter Teni teams up with Chike on “Wurumanya,” off her EP The Wellness Package.
Of all the collaborations on this project, this one makes the most vocal sense. Teni and Chike are two of Nigeria’s most expressive singers, and putting them together on a love song was always going to hit differently. The title itself is Yoruba for “love of my heart,” and that warmth runs through every second.
