Gospel voice Ty Bello joins Sunmisola Agbebi on a hopeful record titled “When You Show Yourself.” It opens her “I Speak Lion” project.
“I Speak Lion” is a 20-track collection, so the opening song matters. Ty Bello and Sunmisola Agbebi already worked together on “Closer Than Close” in 2023. That history shows, because the two voices already know each other well.
It’s a spontaneous worship recording, so the sound feels live and unforced. Soft instruments frame the voices, and the pace stays patient. Their harmonies stay close, so the prayer feels shared. The message is a longing for God’s presence to be seen and felt.
This one works because it asks for one thing and waits patiently. Even on a long album, it makes a calm, clear opening statement.
