Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay joins forces with rap heavyweight Sarkodie on “This & That,” a playful Afrobeats record about love, attraction and the little things that happen between two people.

Wendy Shay takes the lead with a confident delivery, singing about a man whose behaviour keeps getting her attention. She isn’t hiding her feelings, but she also makes it clear that she expects him to treat her right. The song has a cheeky romantic side that makes the title fit naturally.

Sarkodie comes in with a rap verse, switching between Twi and English. He brings his familiar wordplay to the conversation, responding to Wendy’s romantic advances with his own lines. One detail Ghanaian listeners may catch is his mention of fellow rapper Patapaa, which has already sparked conversations around the song.

“This & That” was produced by Beatz Vampire, while Authentic Mix handled the mixing and mastering. The recording runs for approximately 2 minutes and 34 seconds, keeping the collaboration short and direct.

The release also brings two familiar names in Ghanaian music together again. Wendy Shay previously worked with Sarkodie on “Psalm 35,” alongside Kuami Eugene. She has also built her catalogue through songs such as “Uber Driver,” “Bedroom Commando” and “Astalavista.”

Released through RuffTown Records with distribution by ONErpm, the new single gives both artists another collaboration for their respective catalogues.
