Dutch rapper and singer Jonna Fraser has teamed up with Nigerian Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage on a vibrant new single titled “Turn It Up,” produced by fellow Dutch producer Jordan Wayne and released on July 10, 2026.

The pairing is more interesting than it first appears. Jonna Fraser has built a strong fanbase in the Netherlands and across Europe through his blend of Afro-Pop, R&B, and rap, but linking up with Tiwa Savage gives “Turn It Up” a direct line into the African market. That kind of cross-continental bridge does not happen by accident. Both parties clearly saw value in each other’s audience.

Tiwa Savage, meanwhile, has been one of the busiest names in music this year. She performed at SXSW London in June, launched the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation in Lagos in March, and has continued to appear on high-profile collaborations. Her feature on “Turn It Up” fits naturally within that active creative season rather than feeling like a filler appearance.

Jordan Wayne’s production keeps the record light and groove-driven -the kind of sound that travels well between European and African playlists without fully belonging to either. That middle ground is actually where the song finds its strength. Neither artist has to leave their comfort zone to make it work, yet the record still feels like something neither would have made alone.

For Jonna Fraser, landing Tiwa Savage is the kind of feature that opens doors. “Turn It Up” arrives at exactly the right moment in his trajectory to do that.
