Woza Bakzin and GoldMax link with Still That Combo on “Sofel’empini,” and this one’s got a heavier edge to it.

Sofel’empini roughly points to falling or standing in battle, war imagery basically. Still That Combo’s involvement makes sense here, they’re known for that grittier sound. Different energy than the party-first stuff this duo’s been putting out lately.

GoldMax darkens the palette a bit, log drum still present but the melody underneath turns moodier. Less bright piano, more low, brooding synth work. Percussion hits harder too, almost aggressive compared to something like “Ispikili.”

Woza Bakzin’s delivery matches that shift, sounding more forceful than his usual laid-back pocket riding. There’s an edge in his voice here that wasn’t really present on the lighter tracks. Battle talk needs that kind of intensity, and he brings it.

Still That Combo comes through with their own weight added to the track, verses hitting with real conviction. They don’t soften anything for the sake of blending in. If anything they push the intensity up another level from where Woza Bakzin left it.

This is easily one of the heavier cuts in the whole Woza Bakzin and GoldMax run so far. War imagery, harder production, no letting up anywhere. “Sofel’empini” earns its title.
