Alabama rapper Rylo Rodriguez teams up with Lil Baby on “Promises,” a standout from his album S.K.A.T.E. Produced by Al Geno and Zeus, the track pairs two artists with real history, Lil Baby signed Rylo as the first artist on his new Glass Window Entertainment label.
That connection runs deep. Rylo’s been linked to Lil Baby since 2018, appearing on records like “Stick On Me” and “Eat or Starve” over the years. So “Promises” continues a partnership that’s only grown stronger.
Expect soulful, melodic production here, the kind that’s defined S.K.A.T.E. as a whole. Warm instrumentation likely carries the emotional weight throughout the record.
Rylo Rodriguez blends singing and rapping on this one, talking about going above and beyond for someone he loves. Together, both voices create real emotional balance.
By the end, “Promises” plays like a heartfelt standout from Rylo’s growing catalog. Melodic, sincere, built on a genuine mentor-artist bond.
