Nigerian star BNXN reunites with FOLA on a new one titled “Shamaya.” These two already hit the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Chart together with “Very Soon.”
BNXN’s known for turning collaborators into standout features, and FOLA’s own catalog carries heartfelt, emotionally rich songwriting. So this reunion follows proven chemistry.
Their last joint effort blended soulful vocals with introspective delivery, and this one likely continues that emotional throughline. FOLA credits that partnership as pivotal to his breakout.
Expect warm, melodic Afrobeats production, the kind BNXN favors on his own catalog. FOLA’s sound often fuses R&B, Pop, and Amapiano textures underneath.
Given the title’s unfamiliar, almost mystical feel, expect something emotionally layered rather than straightforward. That fits both artists’ recent pattern of thoughtful, reflective records.
By the end, “Shamaya” plays like another strong pairing from two artists who already know how to complement each other. Soulful, melodic, built on real musical trust.
