Ghanaian rapper Medikal teams up with Shatta Wale on a new one titled “Sika.” These two already have a long history together, from “Packaging” to “Small Nyash” and their joint EP “Crossroads.”

Medikal, real name Samuel Adu Frimpong, and Shatta Wale’s friendship runs deeper than music at this point, their bond’s become almost as famous as their collaborations. “Sika,” which means money in Twi, fits right into their usual bravado-heavy lane.

Both artists lead the Stubborn Academy together, so expect that same confident, brotherly energy that’s defined their past joint records. Their chemistry in the studio shows up every time they link up.

Expect the production to lean hard into dancehall and Afrobeat elements, punchy drums and a commanding bassline built for both artists’ larger-than-life deliveries.

Given the title, expect themes of wealth, hustle, and flexing, territory both artists know well from their individual catalogs.

By the end, “Sika” plays like another confident, high-energy team-up from two of Ghana’s closest industry friends. Bold, boastful, built on real chemistry.

Add it to your dancehall rotation and let the swagger carry through.
