The fourth track of the album “EMPINI” is called “Shona Khona” and has Sipho Magudulela on guitar by Sfarzo Rtee and Mkeyz.

The guitar is the first thing people notice. Sipho Magudulela adds melodic arrangements that sit beside lingering percussion, which gives the song an atmospheric, unhurried feel. Sfarzo Rtee supplies jazz-influenced production, and Mkeyz sings with a smooth, easy delivery. At six minutes and 22 seconds, the record has plenty of space for each element to settle. So the mood stays calm even while the rhythm keeps moving.

The sound belongs to South African Amapiano, but it leans toward the Private School Sgija style, which prizes refined production and detailed arrangements. That choice makes sense for Sfarzo Rtee, who has built his name on Sgija flavours and Sgidongo touches. Africori handled the release, so the song reaches platforms worldwide, and some Amapiano lists already place it among the hottest tracks of the moment.

“EMPINI” itself is a big project. It runs 73 minutes and 33 seconds across 12 tracks, with Mashudu, Tracy, Miikey Ndlovu, Portia KM, De Rose, Makhanj, and many others in the mix. “Ngibuyele Kuye” with Tracy and Wesley Keys sits near the end, and “Seshego Drive” and “Zikufanele” bring Sipho Magudulela back for more guitar. “Shona Khona” arrives early, so it sets the tone for the long listen ahead.

For Amapiano fans who like warm guitar and a patient groove over loud drops, this one rewards a quiet, attentive session.
