Nigerian music artist Shallipopi completes his “WayWard” EP with “OGO”, a confident jam about success, status and self-belief.
It is the third and final song on a three-track project. “.com” opens it, and “UP (Transovania)” follows. So “OGO” has the last word. The EP is short, so the closer matters.
The theme is his rise. Shallipopi uses his Pluto persona to talk about where he stands now. His delivery stays relaxed and conversational, like the rest of the EP. He keeps it playful and bold. There is no long story. He states his position and moves on.
Cooq is credited with production. The EP leans on Amapiano-influenced Afrobeats, and that bounce carries through the project. Also, the song runs under three minutes. It leaves before it can overstay.
“WayWard” also marks a return. Before it, Shallipopi dropped “Auracle” in 2025 and “Shakespopi” in 2024. So fans waited a little for this one. A short, confident finish suits a comeback. For a street-hop star, a tight project keeps the hype simple.
