South African Maskandi artist Mbeje releases his eight-track album “IMMUNE SYSTEM” with a viral title track.

The album arrived on October 7, 2026, after weeks of social media previews. The title track gained attention before release and inspired dance and lip-sync videos across South African timelines. So the hype built before most fans heard the full project.

That title track is also the surprise on the tracklist. It closes the album and runs 17 minutes and 5 seconds. The other seven songs share about 28 minutes between them, so the finale takes up more than a third of the 45-minute project. Anyone expecting a quick closer should plan for something much larger.

The rest stays compact. “10 OVER 10” is one of the headline tracks, while “Ngiyinsizwa” runs longest of the seven at 4:52. Sources describe string instrumentation and poetic Zulu storytelling throughout, which keeps the project rooted in Maskandi tradition.

The title also invites a reading. An immune system defends the body, so the name can suggest resilience and standing firm under pressure.
