South African Maskandi artist uZondi introduces his third studio album, “WENKULUNKULU,” a ten-track collection released through Ziiki Media.
The title is a Zulu call to God, and the album’s themes follow it. The rollout began in October 2026 with the cover art, then the project arrived in full. It runs about 38 minutes, and the songs stay compact. The title track is the shortest at 2:45, while “Angisayisebenzi” stretches to 5:27.
“NIHLALA KULIPHI?” led the way. It came out on October 2, 2026, and now opens the album. Thabiso Shenge handles production on the project’s material, and the writing credits include uZondi’s own name, Braveman Nkosingiphile Zondi, alongside Shenge. So the sound and the words come from a small, tight circle.
uZondi also arrives with form. His earlier projects “Ngingohlakaniphile” and “Into Yamahhala” built the path, and a recent single, “Musa ukuziyekelela,” featured Njabulo Langa. This album deepens that style rather than changing it.
