South Korean K-pop powerhouse Stray Kids drop their tenth mini album “THIS & THAT” under JYP Entertainment – eight tracks that move through ambition, love, separation, and personal confidence in just over 25 minutes.
The project arrives through a deliberate double-release rollout. Pre-release single “RUN IT” dropped first in June, building anticipation before the full album landed in August. That strategy gave fans six weeks to process one record before the complete picture arrived – and it worked exactly as intended. “RUN IT” already crossed 49 million streams by album release day.
The title track “This & That” distills the album’s core attitude cleanly. Rather than choosing between options, Stray Kids embrace everything simultaneously – a statement of confidence that runs through the entire project. 3RACHA, the group’s producing trio of Bang Chan, Changbin, and HAN, helmed the album once again. Their production identity keeps the record distinctly SKZ even when the sounds shift wildly between tracks.
And they do shift. “FARMING” at 2:31 is 3RACHA at their most experimental – restless and rewarding in equal measure. “Back Then” goes completely the other direction – a warm, ’80s-influenced rock record written entirely by HAN that Billboard highlighted as one of the album’s most graceful moments. Then “This & That (Festival Version)” closes everything with an energy that feels built for the world tour they announced alongside the project.
