Cojo Rae enlists Quamina MP for “Kwesi Arthur II,” a new take on his own breakout record “Kwesi Arthur.”
Medezion handles production. The song runs about two minutes and thirty-eight seconds. Twi-infused lyrics carry the message. Cojo Rae and Quamina MP talk about hunger, faith, and refusing to stay overlooked. So it is a hustler’s record, tuned for Ghanaian listeners.
Quamina MP knows the name in the title well. He broke through with “Wiase Y3 D3,” which featured Kwesi Arthur and Yung C. He then joined Kwesi Arthur and Kofi Kinaata on “Party.” He is nicknamed “Party Monster.” So his guest verse comes with real history around that name.
The original “Kwesi Arthur” put Cojo Rae on more radars. A second version lets him ride that wave. Also, it gives the song a fresh voice without throwing away the hook people already know.
The record also sits on his “Gen Z Highlife” album. There, it joins songs like “Dbee” and “Aberanteɛ.” So it works as a bridge between his earlier singles and the full project.
