Nigerian multi-gifted gospel singer Essence, born Okoro Uwale, sends a clear call to believers on “Go And Tell Them.”
The song comes straight from the Great Commission. Jesus told his followers to carry the good news to others, and Essence builds the whole record around that instruction. She wants listeners to share the word of God and the message of salvation. Nothing fancy, just a direct push.
The mood stays worshipful. Her voice is soul-stirring, and it carries the message without shouting it. She keeps the focus on faith and purpose, not on performance.
Two ideas sit at the centre. First, God’s love is unconditional. Second, there is real hope in Christ, including the promise that he will return. Those points give the song a lift that goes beyond a normal praise record.
This one speaks to people who need encouragement more than they need noise. It works in a church setting, but it also fits a quiet moment on your own.
Essence also reminds believers that faith is not meant to stay private. When you have good news, you pass it on.
