American singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers closes her new album Lost Weekend with an emotional final track titled “Lost Weekend (Reprise).”

Placed at track 16, the song brings the 16-track album to its final moments after a project that marks Bridgers’ first solo album since 2020’s Punisher.

What makes “Lost Weekend (Reprise)” especially interesting is how closely it connects to the album’s title track. Bridgers has explained that the reprise is about returning to the feeling explored in the first “Lost Weekend,” but with more resolve and contentment. She also connected the song to remembering her late father and what she learned from him.

As the final listed track on Lost Weekend, “Lost Weekend (Reprise)” feels less like an extra song and more like a closing thought quiet, personal, and deliberately unresolved.
