Guitar leads again, because that’s maskandi’s whole language really. Picked pattern stays steady, izinsimbi clinking through at intervals rather than constant. Nothing about the arrangement rushes toward anywhere, it just holds its position and lets the words carry things.
UKhoz’olumpunga’s voice has that rougher, older maskandi texture, not polished, not trying to be. There’s a fatherly quality to the delivery almost, someone who’s been through enough to actually offer comfort convincingly. Doesn’t come off as empty reassurance either.
Lyrically it stays direct, urging patience, urging strength through whatever’s being carried right now. Not a lot of metaphor dressing it up. Sometimes plain words land harder than clever ones anyway, especially when comfort’s the actual goal.
