Nigerian-American rapper Tobe Nwigwe brings highlife duo The Cavemen and Afro-fusion artist FirstKlaz together on a new record titled “SUPERSTAR.”
The song sits at track eleven of “THE BRIDGE,” just one slot before the closer. Tobe Nwigwe LLC released the 12-song album, and Human Re Sources handles distribution. So the record arrives deep in the tracklist, where a rapper usually saves his most personal material.
The Cavemen are the common thread here. They also appear on “CHOP” at track two and on “WHAT LOVERS DO” at track twelve. That means “SUPERSTAR” sits between two of their other appearances, so the duo effectively frames the album’s second half.
FirstKlaz brings a fresh voice into that setup. He also appears on Falz’s “Na Je” from the “Break Time” EP, so his name keeps travelling across Nigerian projects this year. Here, he joins a hip-hop album with a highlife backbone.
Tobe also gave fans an early look. Before release, he shared a preview of the music with his family online. That small move fits the album’s identity, which ties his Houston roots to Lagos and London.
Overall, “SUPERSTAR” shows how deliberately the album uses its guests. Each Nigerian act appears more than once, so the project feels like a conversation, not a list.
