Nigerian-American rapper Tobe Nwigwe brings Scarface, ODUMODUBLVCK, and Hanumankind together on a cross-continental record titled “PEACE AND PROBLEMS.”
The song sits at track nine on “THE BRIDGE,” Tobe’s 12-song album. Its guest list spans three countries. Scarface represents American rap history, ODUMODUBLVCK carries Nigerian street rap, and Hanumankind brings the Indian scene. So the title of the album shows up in the credits themselves.
Hanumankind also appears under his legal name, Sooraj Cherukat, in the credit lines. That small detail shows how carefully the paperwork follows the lineup.
The link with ODUMODUBLVCK is not new either. Tobe already features on “HALLELUJAH,” where ODUMODUBLVCK also pulled in Jeriq and Phyno. Because of that, this invitation reads like a favour returned rather than a cold booking.
Four rappers from different worlds can easily clash on one beat. Still, the record gives each voice its own background and approach. Tobe handles the cultural storytelling, while his guests add weight from their own regions.
Within the album, the track follows “ALLAHUAKBARS” and comes just before “HEAVEN KNOWS ME WELL.” That placement puts it near the project’s closing stretch.
