Teni is back and she came with purpose. The Sugar Mummy Records boss has officially released her new EP, The Wellness Package, through Sugar Mummy Records in partnership with Gamma Africa.
This is the first body of work from her since the 2023 album Tears of the Sun and the gap shows: this project feels lived-in, deliberate and deeply personal.
Teni herself described the creative process simply: “It’s just how I was feeling. It was a new year. I was feeling the energy. You can pause but never stop.” That energy runs through every track here.
The Wellness Package is built around healing, community, love, and choosing yourself every day. Rather than a standard rollout, Teni paired the music with a full fan experience – a Run Club, a Treasure Hunt with exclusive wellness boxes, and intimate listening sessions designed to pull fans straight into her world.
Musically, she pulled in some of Nigeria’s finest – Olamide, Chike, and highlife duo The Cavemen – to help tell this story. The result is a seven-track project that moves through different moods without losing its central thread.
