Nigerian singer and TikTok influencer Indriza has connected with rising street-pop act Cazulee on a new single titled “Shayla,” and the record is already making moves on the charts.

“Shayla” currently sits at number four on the Xclusive chart, sitting right behind records from KOLD AF and Abefe — which tells you the song is finding listeners quickly rather than building slowly. For two artists still working their way into mainstream conversations, that kind of early traction is exactly what a collaboration should do.

Indriza has been quietly stacking his catalogue with purpose. His MERAKI EP introduced him to a wider audience, while follow-up singles like “Ayomide” and “Ayomide II” featuring Barry Jhay showed an artist comfortable working across different emotional registers. “Shayla” leans into his softer, more melodic side – the kind of song built around a girl worth singing about rather than a flex worth shouting.

Cazulee, on his end, has been one of the more active rising artists in Nigeria’s street-pop scene. His collaboration with TML Vibez on “Hallelujah” and solo efforts under Dapper Music & Entertainment showed a voice that adapts well across moods. Here, he slots naturally into Indriza’s world without pulling the record into unfamiliar territory.

“Shayla” works because neither artist is trying to outshine the other. They both serve the song, and that restraint is exactly why it connects.
