HouseXcape and Dj Njabsta step in fresh for “Xakapa,” crafted by the sensational Lowbass Djy
Twelve tracks deep now, and after “Ingest” brought the energy back up, this one pushes even further into unfamiliar territory. Neither HouseXcape nor Dj Njabsta has shown up anywhere else in this run, and that fresh pairing shows in the sound.
The bassline here carries a slightly different texture than earlier tracks, warmer, less aggressive than “Ingest” but still full. Percussion moves in tighter patterns, closer to a locked groove than the building intensity from the last record.
HouseXcape’s touch shows in a cleaner, more polished mix than some of the rougher entries in this run. Dj Njabsta layers rhythmic elements throughout, keeping the groove textured without overcrowding the space Lowbass Djy built.
It plays less like a vocal-driven collab and more like three producers trading ideas in real time. Nothing here demands attention loudly, it just keeps moving forward.
