Instrumentation stays sparse again, though there’s a slight layering here, a second guitar maybe, sitting just under the lead line. Hand percussion taps along softly, nothing pushing too hard. Feels intentional, like the sound itself is making room for other voices even if you don’t hear them.
Manyarela’s delivery sits calmer than “Kholumo-Lumo,” back to that reflective tone from earlier tracks. But there’s something settled in it this time, not searching, not straining. Like she’s already found whatever she was looking for on the last few songs.
The lyrics circle around resolution, things being talked out, tension easing once people sit together. No dramatic buildup toward some big reveal. Just a steady insistence that peace comes easier when you’re not carrying it by yourself.
Feels like a fitting place to land after everything else in this run. Quieter, sure, but not empty.
