South African Amapiano duo TNK MusiQ reunite with ZANI on “H14,” track seventeen off “iiNgcambu zikaThixo.” It’s one more groove-first cut from a pair that clearly enjoy working together.
ZANI is all over this album. He’s on “Ntokazi,” “Monate Fela,” “Nguwe” and “Honey,” among others. So “H14” feels less like a feature and more like a regular meeting. Kyle De Producer and T-Man RSA, the Johannesburg pair behind TNK MusiQ, have also worked with DBN Gogo, Mellow & Sleazy, W4DE, TXC and Dinky Kunene. Their catalogue runs deep.
The sound stays modern piano. Rolling percussion drives it, and deep bass moves underneath. Layered electronic textures fill the space above. It’s built for people who like a track to stretch out, not race to the drop.
ZANI’s contribution adds a human warmth to all that machinery. Exact lyrics aren’t public yet, so I’ll leave that part alone. The mood alone tells you enough. It’s smooth, danceable and steady.
Sequence matters here. “H14” sits just before “H15” and “7 Seconds,” so the album’s last stretch plays like one long set.
