Uncool MC links up with Azi and Tycoon on a new one titled “Awuzweke.” The East Rand-born artist’s built his name on sharp, rhythmic MC-style vocals within amapiano.
Uncool MC started out as a party MC, hyping crowds before transitioning into recording. A connection with DJ Maphorisa pushed him further into the studio, shaping his current sound.
Tycoon’s already a certified amapiano hitmaker, with a deep catalog of collaborations across the genre. His production credentials add real weight to this new pairing.
Uncool MC often says he came up as a rapper but found his home in amapiano, that blend defines both his delivery and his writing style. Expect that same sharp, confident vocal approach here.
Azi joins the mix, adding another voice to round out the record’s overall texture. Meanwhile, Tycoon likely shapes the sonic backbone, deep keys and a patient groove built from genre experience.
By the end, “Awuzweke” plays like another confident entry from an artist straddling rap and amapiano. Rhythmic, sharp, built on real collaborative credibility.
