Uncool MC links back up with Tycoon on a new one titled “Mazkhethela.” The East Rand artist’s been racking up features lately, from “ZEP” to “Dlala Ka Yona” with Mellow & Sleazy.
Tycoon’s catalog speaks for itself at this point. Dozens of collabs across SA’s amapiano scene with names like DJ Stokie, Lady Du, and Soa Mattrix. Pairing with him gives any track instant credibility.
Uncool MC’s whole thing is that MC energy brought into amapiano, he came up hyping crowds. That was before DJ Maphorisa pushed him into the booth properly. That background still shapes how he approaches every verse.
Expect Tycoon to handle the groundwork here, deep keys, patient log drum, the kind of polished sound that’s carried his name across the genre for years.
Uncool MC probably slides in with that sharp, rhythmic delivery that’s become his calling card, equal parts rap cadence and amapiano melody. That’s basically what sets him apart from a typical feature.
By the end, “Mazkhethela” plays like another solid pairing between a rising MC and a proven producer. Confident, rhythmic, built on real genre chemistry.
